Welcome to my blog of my progress in the Parelli Program!

This is a blog of my journey with my wonderful, amazing, smart, unconfident and then pretends to be--and is-- defaint, Quarter Horse mare, Brizzee, in the Parelli Program! We are official Level 1 Graduates as of spring, of 2009! We are currently playing with On-Line and Freestyle at Levels 2 & 3. I am also beginning to "play" with a friends horse. Sugar is a RBI 5 year old bay Quarter Horse. She is really "calm" and "quiet" and isn't very confident, but she's sensitive and very willing. I thank you for coming with me along my journey of playing with two wonderful horses! :)

In Memory Of Wes Veeder...

My Big Brother, Wes Veeder, passed away on December 3rd, 2009. Wes and I weren't that close because we were a lot different. He was outgoing, and I'm not. He doesn't let things get to him, and I do. He was a HUGE football fan (Green Bay Packers), and I didn't get Football at all. He was loud, I was quiet. Though we had our differences and we didn't do a lot together, I love my brother very much. Whether he knows how much I love him or not, I guess I will never know. Right now I am just kinda here. I'm trying to do school work, but my mind keeps wandering.

Wes was my sister's best friend...they talked about everything. So now she is sort of lost without him. I wish I could understand what she is going through so I could better help her during this difficult time.

I turned 16 yesterday, my first birthday that Wes never called me to wish me a "Happy Birthday". The first birthday that he didn't give me a bad time about being into Twilight, or reading so much, being so shy, etc., etc.

The last time I saw Wes was at Thanksgiving. I was wearing my "Team Jacob" shirt and he was giving me such a bad time about being "Team Jacob." He thinks that all movies rated PG 13 were bull...

But Wes is gone now, living with God. I'm sure he and my Grandpa (and of course his dog, Grizzly, and Festuz) are all having a ball up there.

I love you, Wes!

Randa.
